Micro-Cosmos addresses sleep disturbances and agitation of patients and residents in different healthcare settings by offering a personal, adaptable micro-environment. This micro-environment is created by a segmented, mobile dome that can be easily positioned behind the bed. The Micro-Cosmos SL provides a safe and comforting personal space, and through its integrated light and sound functions, residents can enjoy a soothing, sensory experience in their own bed to help them relax. The innovation is mostly used in nursing homes with people with dementia in The Netherlands, but also in Germany, Ireland and Sweden.
